Our weekend

This weekend the girls and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house while Phillip was super busy working on an upcoming show.
The girls were so excited to see their Grandparents and I'm pretty sure they were just as excited to see the girls. We had a low key weekend of just hanging out and talking. The girls, of course, enjoyed playing with all the toys in the toy closet.

The weather was a little chilly but we did get out for a little while to blow bubbles.

This little rocking chair was the kids growing up and now the grandkids love it. It's just the right size! Aubrey wanted in it so I helped her in and she thought she was something else.
Such little sweeties I have!

Saturday evening we went out to dinner and Aubrey decided she needed to be the center of attention. She was quite the little squealer (begging for bread, of course) and also decided Grandma and Grandpa would be impressed that she can do a great rooster impression. Geez!
Aubrey has become quite the "stuffer". She stuffs her mouth as full as she can before she starts to chew. She is always gagging and coughing on her food. She makes me a nervous wreck! Tonight was no different and she got a thick layer of bread packed in the roof of her mouth and the back of her throat. Long story short I got the bread out and she was left pretty shaken up. Poor Ashlyn was even upset. She had a worried look on her face and said "I thought Aubrey was hurt". Bless her heart! Needless to say we were quite the entertainment for the night...

I have to add in a little funny thing my mother-in-law told me.
(A couple months ago Ashlyn went to Dallas with Grandma and Grandpa to see her cousin Madelyn)

Ashlyn: I've never been to Madelyn's house before.
Grandma: Yes you have. Remember when you and mommy went together?
Ashlyn: No, mommy can't drive to Madelyn's house. She's not a good driver and she can't drive that far.

Ha ha! I guess since Phillip always drives when we travel, he doesn't like being a passenger, she assumes it's because I "can't". It makes me wonder what other assumptions she makes! Silly girl!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who feels like a circus sideshow when they go out in public! LOL! I would have paid big bucks to sit and watch Aubrey do her rooster imitation!! Too funny! Benjamin used to be a "stuffer" too. Scares you to death ... So sorry you can't drive. Should you retake drivers ed? :)
