Sassy Pants

I think the "sassy" gene is getting stronger with each child! Aubrey is a sassy pants!! She loves to tease and give us tude (attitude).

Yesterday morning I got Aubrey dressed on her changing pad then set her down on the floor. She immedietely went to her dresser drawer and pulled out a particular shirt. (We have made comments on how we think she really likes this shirt) Well apparently we were right! She wanted to change shirts. I was able to easily distract her and that was the end of the story.
Then this morning she was sitting on her changing pad in her diaper and I pulled the drawer out to get her clothes. She pointed to her favorite shirt and I just ignored her, please, she's 18 months like she knows what she wants to wear. She started fussing at me so I pulled the other shirt out and she grinned and clapped her hands. Are you kidding me?

Then at breakfast she had a lot on her mind. She was jabbering away and waving her hands as she talked then would stop and cross her arms. Then jabber away then cross her arms. She makes me laugh all the time!

Later in the morning Ashlyn got put in time out for not playing nice. Aubrey stood across the room and said rather sassy like "no no, no no" and shook her little finger at Ashlyn. I had to get on to Aubrey for being bossy then quickly went around the corner to snicker.

I hope our insurance plan pays for blood pressure pills, cause Daddy is going to need them with all these sassy girls around here!!
