Prayer

I wanted to share what is going on with our family and ask that you be praying.

Yesterday my dad, Uncle Jim, and Jim's son were working cattle. Two of the bulls started fighting and tore down a large, very heavy metal gate knocking Jim in the head. Thankfully God stopped the cows from storming through and trampling him to death. He had a large laceration on his head and broken arm/shoulder and was taken by ambulance to the local hospital where my parents live. When they did a CT scan they found his scull cracked and thought what was probably bone fragments on his brain. He was immediately flown to San Antonio.

Once in San Antonio they did more scans and found he did not have bone fragments on his brain and they were not going to have to do surgery after all. Praise God! He does have a small bleed in a vein but so far no swelling. He is awake and talking. He is saying crazy things but they are pretty sure it's from the strong pain medications. He is in ICU and they are going to do more scans today to monitor him.

Everyone is pretty shaken up. My Granddad is not doing so well but thankfully my Grandma can't comprehend the severity of Jim's injury. (My Grandma had a stroke two years ago)

We are so grateful that God protected him the way He did and are asking Him to continue to heal his injuries!
