Our week

We've had a rainy week that's kept us inside quite a bit. It's no fun trying to load and unload two kids while it's raining so it's just easier to stay inside and play.

We did go over to our friend's house Tuesday morning for a play date. There were 11 kids ages 2 months to 5 years old. Ashlyn was the oldest there, that feels odd to me. We had a good time! All the mommies sat around in comfy clothes drinking coffee while the kids scattered every single toy that they owned through out the house. It's so funny how us mom's like to get together to have adult conversations but when there are 11 kids we can't complete a sentence without being interrupted by a little one needing a drink or stopping someone from playing in the potty!

Friday we went for a walk and enjoyed the beautiful weather, me and the four girls! :) It's kinda hard to tell but Ashlyn is carrying her baby on her hip like a real momma.

I just love spring weather! I'm always excited the first time I can put my flip flops on and take walks before nap time!

This is quite random but it's too cute not to include. Aubrey discovered she had pockets in her little summer dress. She walked around all day with her hands in her pockets. I always loved putting Ashlyn in this little cotton dress. Doesn't it look so comfy?

Monday afternoon I was mopping the kitchen floors when I heard a couple car doors slam. A couple seconds later I walked toward the living room to make sure someone wasn't about to ring the doorbell and wake up my napping toddler and much to my shock someone was peeking in my windows. Like with their hands cupped around their eyes looking in my house! We saw each other at the same time and startled each other equally as much. They hopped back in their car and left quickly. Two days later they were back with their realtor, to look from the inside this time. Ha! I can't imagine peeking into windows in a home that obviously looks occupied from the outside! I'm glad they didn't pull that stunt at 9pm when Phillip wasn't home! I would have wet my pants and called the cops!!

Phillip has the day off tomorrow. He took a vacation day to de-stress from the past two month's madness. I'm so excited to have a long weekend as a family! I can't remember the last vacation day Phillip has had that didn't involve a commitment or packing up the van and traveling somewhere. And the rain is supposed to stop and it's going to be beautiful!!
