Before I had my sweet babies I worked in a medical office and was blessed to work with, Lance Faddis, a wonderful Christan doctor. Phillip and I have stayed good friends with Lance and his wife, Jennifer, since I left. Lance felt God telling him that he needed to go and help the people of Haiti, to use the skills he has given him for His glory. So with the help of his church he has headed up a team of doctors and nurses in our area and is going to take a trip to Haiti this next week. I am asking everyone to pray for this team. As you know the conditions in Haiti right now are horrible, they are still experiencing aftershocks, there is not clean water available, and unfortunately with situations like this there is always a lot of looting. Please pray that God will protect them from harm and keep them healthy. Also pray for their families as they stay behind, I can't imagine the feeling of knowing your husband is in a dangerous situation.
Here is a short news clip from our local TV station.

I'm lifting up that team in my prayers!!!
Thank you Becca for sharing this with us. Having met the Faddis family personally, I sat there and cried as I read it. Thank you for caring so much for them that you sat aside your blog just for them. I will be praying for them.
OK, for some reason, I just got ALL of your blog updates for the past 4 months! I thought you'd dropped off the blogosphere! So I'm just now reading this. Thank you so much for the post and the prayers! We love you guys!
