Ashlyn loves Dancing with the Stars!
Ashlyn thinks she looks like the dancers on Dancing with the Stars when she dresses up!

So you can imagine the thrill she got when I told her she could wear this when we made a quick trip to drop off a clothing donation to Helping Hands, which did not require the girls getting out of the van.
Oh, and the story behind the boots... I went through everyone's closet getting ready for our spring/summer clothes. I was packing up Ashlyn's winter stuff to store for Aubrey and she was not pleased that I was packing her stuff away. She was especially attached to her boots. So, I let her keep those out a while longer. I kept her jeans and leggings out to wear with short sleeve shirts and dresses for cooler days so I have to add them to the box in a month or so anyways, so why not just add the boots then. She has worn them every day since.
She is such a sweet heart and getting so big!
A couple weeks ago we were at Target and the three of us were in the dressing room while I was trying on some clothes. I tried on a skirt that "twirled" (in Ashlyn's words). She was so thrilled that I was trying on such a cute skirt and squealed "Ooo, you look cute Mommy, twirl around and let me see your skirt". And of course I did!
She loves to compliment Phillip and I, it is the sweetest thing. Her favorite is to tell me that I'm a good cook. She always says "Mom, your a good cook to (whatever we are eating)". My favorite so far is "Mom, your a good cook to Rice Krispies and Milk".
