Saturday ended up being kind of a yucky day. It was a tiny bit chilly and drizzly all day so we just hung around the house.
Monday we went to the Promenade and shopped around a bit. My poor Dad is such a trooper! He and Ashlyn hung around the fountain a bit to keep them both entertained! When lunch time rolled around we headed to one of our favorite burger places, Ron's, where we managed to be quite the entertainers for all the patrons! Long story short, my Dad's Pepsi ended up being dumped all over Aubrey in her car seat. Poor girl had a full glass of soda and ice thrown all over her! Her little eyes got as big as saucers! She didn't make a peep though, she was actually rather thrilled to be stripped down to her diaper, re-dressed, and out of her car seat for the remainder of the meal. When we were pulling out of Ron's parking lot there were several cars trying to pull onto a very busy road during lunch time traffic. I was trying to make a right hand turn but wasn't able to see the oncoming cars on my left due to a big SUV trying to turn left. The impatient person behind me honked at my hesitation to put my family's life in danger by pulling out in front of oncoming vehicles. And without thinking I blurted "I can't see you jerk"! Ashlyn then hollers from her car seat "What's hims name mommy". Oops!! I told her "I'm not sure sweetie" hoping she would drop the subject, but she's three, like that's going to happen. So then she asked "Is hims name Joe?". Oh man!!
Tuesday was a beautiful day so we headed to Tulsa to go to the zoo. The weather was perfect and we had such a great time. Ashlyn walked about 90% of the time. I was amazed that she was able to walk that much, and stay awake the entire trip home. Might I also add that she only took one nap while my parents were here. Aubrey was still not feeling herself with those meal 'ol teeth but did really well. I think she just enjoyed the fresh air and being pushed around in her stroller.

It doesn't look like your parents had fun AT ALL. :) It's so sweet to see them with their grandkids...especially your Dad! Our parents are so cute!!!
What great pics of your parents with the girls!
