February 24th

Today Phillip and I have been married 11 years! When I married Phillip I didn't know exactly how wonderful he is and how blessed I would be to call him mine! He is a fantastic husband, an amazing daddy, and a wonderful provider for our family! We are celebrating our anniversary by him working late tonight and working tomorrow morning and me scrubbing every nook and cranny of this house! Whoo hoo! :) I'm not complaining though, we are in a very busy time right now and will celebrate in a couple weeks. I am making his favorite meal tonight though. Although he may have to heat it back up when he gets home. :(

Phillip is trying to manage the job of what three people should be doing right now. It is physically impossible for him to complete everything that needs to be done in a day but he is managing it like a pro. It will all smooth over in a couple weeks so he is almost able to see light at the end of the tunnel! It doesn't help that we are in the middle of buying and selling a home. Poor guy doesn't even get a real break when he gets home!

The girls have been waking up early this week. I'm not really sure why! Ashlyn had a dentist appointment Wednesday morning and Aubrey fell asleep on the way there. I should have known this is what I would find when we pulled in the parking lot. I could hear the "sleeping thumb sucking rhythm" all the way in the front. *Suck suck suck pause, suck suck suck pause*
Sweet baby!

This winter has been awesome! We have played outside a lot this winter. The girls love it!

We have showed our house twice this week. Once Wednesday and then just a couple hours ago today. Wednesday it was right before dinner time. I decided to just drive over to the grocery store parking lot and let the girls watch a DVD in the van for a hour while we waited. I thought they were going to gnaw off their seat belts they were so disgruntled, it was not fun! So today when our realtor called at 1 o'clock right as I was about to start nap time routines and asked if we could be out in a hour I thought I better plan something fun. Aubrey loves her sleep and postponing nap time wasn't going to be pretty unless there was ice cream and playing involved. So, we went to chick-fil-a! I'm sure the girls think I am the best mom ever tossing nap time out the window and going to CFA instead!!

Come 2:45 Aubrey had pretty much run out of gas...

I love the bottom up in the air position. I would die from a crick in my neck if I slept like that!!

I'm so thankful we have had two showings with our house not even being on the market a week yet. I know it's God's way of reassuring me that he's got this thing under control. (I kinda have a control and patience issue!)
Now if only someone would just pony up the cash and buy the thing! ;)
