Baby Jesus

You will find a baby wrapped in cloths lying in a manger
or
crawling around our house
or
sitting in our Bumbo
or
hanging out in the bouncy seat...

Ashlyn came up to me this morning and said "look I'm Mary"


Then she poked out her stomach and said "look, Jesus is in my tummy, he is going to come out" then sucks in her stomach as much as she could and said "see he's born!" She played Mary and baby Jesus while I fixed our lunch. Baby Jesus sat in the Bumbo and bouncy seat and crawled around the house following her from room to room. When it was time for lunch I went to go find her and she was in my room with the door closed. When I opened the door she had taken off the top portion of her leotard (because Mary was also a ballerina who wore a leotard, dancing skirt, and plaid leggings) and was nursing baby Jesus!
In Sunday school they learned that Jesus was a baby during Christmas time and are now learning that Jesus grew to be a boy then a man. She has been fascinated by this and talks about Jesus often. It is the sweetest thing!
