Phillip is one of the most caring and genuine people I know. He is so loving and kind to me, even when I am not in a lovable mood. He knows that I love little notes and words of encouragement and is so sweet to leave me a note or send me a quick e-mail to make me feel loved. There are not many evenings that go by that he doesn't tell me thank you for cooking dinner or compliments me on a meal he especially enjoyed. He is such an encourager!

Phillip is an amazing Daddy to our girls! I mean it, he is absolutely amazing! He tells our girls on a regular basis how pretty he thinks they are and how special they are! Ashlyn and Aubrey love him to pieces. Aubrey will sit and stare at him during dinner and flash him the biggest grin when he looks at her! It is so precious! One of my favorite things to watch is Phillip and Ashlyn dancing around the living room! Ashlyn and Phillip both love music and it is so sweet to watch them enjoy it together.

Phillip is also a wonderful provider for our family. God has given him an amazing talent and he uses it both for His service at church and to provide for our family. I am always amazed at how much information about computers, audio, and video he retains. I make fun of him for reading audio magazines for entertainment but secretly I am jealous he can comprehend such high tech information.

I am absolutely in love with this man and I can't wait to see what the next nine years have in store!

Mom was telling me about this post and that I needed to get on here to read it. I joked with her, "Now why would I want to read such gushy, mushy sweet comments about my brother!" ;)Funny thing is ... I was just thinking the other day how he used to have such a temper while growing up but how patient and kind he is now. (I think Madelyn inherited his temper while I gave Ashlyn the dairy allergy) I agree, he is such a good father. Congrats on nine years. We're getting old. :)
Uh oh, did I just tattle tale to all your friends on Phillip's childhood temper?
