*This little guy came all the way from China and was delivered to my house today. Thanks hubby! ;)
*I've had the same phone for 4 1/2 years. It was really cool when I got it. It's a flip phone, is red, and has a camera. Now it's pretty ancient.
*Phillip gave me my iPod Touch right before I had Aubrey. I updated my Facebook status and sent e-mails from my hospital bed with it after I had Aubrey. Phillip had it engraved on the back with both girl's names. It's kinda special to me and I can't part with it. So, the girls will get to use it.
*The girl's love to listen to Pandora on my iPod hooked up to speakers. There is a Disney station that plays all the well known Disney songs. They will literally listen and dance to it for over a hour!
*The leaves on our trees are starting to turn. The weather has been wonderful the past several weeks! Cool and crisp in the morning and warm in the afternoon.
*I've been working on little projects around the house. I like having projects to do. I have the living room painted, my wall decorations purchased (I just have to get up the courage to nail my nice fresh walls to hang them), I crocheted some dishcloths, made the girls Fall shirt's, and am now taping the girl's bathroom and prepping to paint.
*I should be working on the bathroom instead of blogging. I'm stalling. It's gonna be a chore! There are a lot of tight spaces and corners. A lot! Like behind the toilet...
*These are the shirts I made for the girl's. Per Ashlyn they are girl pumpkins because they have bows.
*It wasn't our plan to have both of our girl's names start with A. I was actually against it and thought it would be cheesy. But now I love that Aubrey can wear Ashlyn's pumpkin shirt in two or three years.
*Ashlyn has grown up so much lately! She is my little buddy!
*Aubrey has the best manners a two year old can have. We pretty much never have to remind her to say please and thank you. She will be bawling her eyes out about something and will still say please or thank you. She tells me thank you for changing her diaper or putting her clothes on. If someone bumps into her she will automatically say sorry to them. If you burp she will tell you excuse you. If you sneeze or cough she will say bless you.
*Aubrey put herself in time out twice the other day. First, I told her to come get in her chair for lunch and she threw a little hissy fit. I told her that was not acting nice and to come here right now. She turned around and left the kitchen. I started to get on to her for disobeying but then found her in the corner. When I asked what she was doing she told me "I'm out" (time out). Then later that same day she was playing with the fireplace and I scolded her and she trotted off to the corner. Sweet funny girl!
*I am ready for a weekend with no commitments. Phillip has been working his booty off! He was in Dallas a couple weeks ago. Last Saturday he was in Joplin all day. Walmart did a surprise concert for the high school students for their homecoming dance and he helped organize it. This Saturday he has a meeting in the morning. Next weekend we are doing a garage sale with two other families. Hopefully life will slow down, especially for Phillip. Poor guy!
*I'm hoping we can sneak a outing to the Pumpkin patch tomorrow after Phillip gets home. It's that time of the year!
