Christmas Take Three

On Christmas evening my parents arrived from Texas. They were so kind to make the drive this year to our house. It's quite the long haul!

We had a wonderful visit with my family. We were able to hang out and relax along with fit in a couple fun activities. We went celebrated Christmas, went shopping, took the puppies for a walk, went to the movies, and best of all went to Chuck-E-Cheese for Ashlyn's birthday!

The girls were excited to have Nana and Pawpaw here to show off for and were almost as excited to play with the puppies.
Aubrey insisted on hand feeding the puppies their dog food. They normally only eat once a day but Aubrey felt they needed to eat three meals like she does. I'm sure they started a diet once they got back home!

Ashlyn and Nana spent a lot of time together playing Nana's iPad and playing a new princess card game they brought her.

And Aubrey spent a lot of time napping with Pawpaw, twice actually. She never falls asleep in our arms! I think it was a combination on feeling loved and exhaustion!

On Tuesday evening my brother, Aaron, and his fiancé, Kristine, came in from College Station. They are getting married in three months and Ashlyn is going to be their flower girl. She's just excited to wear a princess dress for the event!

Once we were all together we opened our gifts to each other. The girls were spoiled with more fun toys and sweet gifts. Ashlyn got hair feathers from her Great Aunt Jan. As you can see, she likes to be extra fancy and wear more than one at a time!

This is a sweet picture of the girls with Pawpaw and Nana. Aubrey loves dress up clothes and dancing and I knew she would not smile if we attempted to take her fairy dress off. ;)
