Just a little about our week...

First and most importantly, we have decided on a name for our sweet baby girl, Aubrey Nicole. We originally didn't want a first name that started with an A, we don't like cheesy stuff like that, but we just loved the name.
We had a good and rather productive week. I did a little more de-junking and moving things around. Our computer desk came in and we got it all set up in our master bedroom. I will not tell you how many bags I have going to Helping Hands thus far, it would be rather embarrassing. I guess when you haven't moved in 5 years you don't find it an absolute necessity to go through every area of your house and get rid of stuff you don't need. Mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, you will be very proud of Phillip! He went through his dresser of "treasures" today while Ashlyn and I were at a birthday party and I was so proud of how small the keep pile was. He has been such a trooper, he absolutely hates to organize, his mind just doesn't work that way. Although I still don't understand why you need a thousand XLR connectors and thing-a-ma-jigs.
Oh well, I'm sure there is more stuff I have and things I do that drive him nuts too.
On Thursday we headed to the Promenade to do some shopping. I needed some maternity clothes and Clinique products and Ashlyn needed a swim suit. It was such a beautiful day to be out and about. We were at Children's Place looking at swimming suits and Ashlyn pulls one off the rack and says "no, too much" and puts it back on the rack. I started laughing out loud. She cracks me up with the things she says now a days. After we shopped we ate lunch and Ashlyn played in the little play area. They have a little fountain by the play area, which I am sure is just for looks, but several kids were splashing their feet and hands in the water. Why would you put a water fountain next to the kids play area and not think that's where all the kids will congregate? So, of course Ashlyn wanted to dip her feet in too. She got her little leggings and behind pretty soggy but had a blast doing it. Sometimes you just have to grin and not think about how your going to get a wet toddler home without getting everything else wet!
We don't have any big plans for the weekend. We are just hanging out together before things start to get crazy around here. Phillip starts overseeing the set up for this little non-stressful week long event called Shareholders on Tuesday. (For those of you in my area, you got my little joke) He will be working hard the next two weeks, we won't get to see him much. I am so proud of him, he is very talented at what he does!
