Summer is Coming!

Summer is quickly approaching which means fun times outside! I don't like to be cold so spring and summer are my favorite times of the year. Although being in the 80 degree weather and pregnant thinking I was going to have a heat stroke this week makes me wonder how much I'm gonna love summer this year! Ha!
Yesterday when Phillip was in town dropping off some things at Helping Hands he saw a place where they had pony rides going. So, after Ashlyn's nap we took her to ride a pony. She loved every minute of it! They also had a miniature horse for the kids to pet. It was so cute watching Ashlyn, the petite thing that she is, stand taller than the horse.


After dinner we sat outside on the porch and ate watermelon. Ashlyn has always eaten her watermelon cut into little chunks on her plate so she was thrilled when we handed her a big wedge to dive into! Isn't that just the sweetest face!!
