Last night we had some friends, Brian and Gina, over for dinner. They have a sweet 7 week old baby girl named Brynn. Ashlyn was thrilled Brynn was here, and took on the responsibility of taking care of her for the evening! She cracked us up with how serious she was with Brynn. She was not giddy and silly like we expected, she busied herself the whole afternoon making sure she had her pacies, bottle, burp cloth, and toys. They let Ashlyn "hold" Brynn and feed her a bottle and she thought she was sooo big. I'm not sure yet how I am going communicate to Ashlyn that she is too much of a help when her baby sister is here without hurting her feelings. I honestly think she believes she is big enough to take over. I'm sure she made poor Gina nervous last night, she was so sweet to let Ashlyn "help"!
