Christmas Wish List

Ashlyn only watches PBS cartoons. They are educational and most of them are age appropriate for Ashlyn. This past Saturday though she was watching a cartoon on a local TV station that has commercials. (Which is another plus to PBS, no commercials) So, of course every toy that was advertised Ashlyn wanted for Christmas. Seriously, these commercials are out of control!

Later that day we had a conversation like this-

Ashlyn: "Mom, I want a pig that eats boogers"
Me: "A pig eats boogers?!?"
Ashlyn: "It's a game, you feed the pig boogers and his tummy gets bigger and bigger"
Me: "I don't think that's a good game, that's gross". I also mummbled something about how crass children's toys are getting.

Later I saw this...

You feed the pig BURGERS.
Hahaha!
