One of my favorites is to roast them. I mostly roast fresh broccoli, frozen brussel sprouts, fresh carrots, and fresh green beans. It is so quick, easy, and delicious!
Wash and chop your fresh vegetables and arrange them on a single layer on a baking sheet. (Frozen vegetables don't need to be thawed)
Drizzle olive oil over vegetables and season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste. Toss to coat evenly.

Bake in oven at 350'-375' for 15-20 minutes until tender and pieces just start to brown, stirring the vegetables half way through.
(The temperature of my oven often varies depending on what else I have in the oven)

Neither Phillip or I are a fan of brussel sprouts prepared any other way but roasting them seems to pull the bitterness out of them.

Our favorite way to eat frozen green beans is steamed then tossed with garlic and salt. I steam the green beans in a steam basket until they are fork tender. Then I drain the water and put the green beans back in the pot without the steam basket. I'll then add a little bit of butter and olive oil, minced garlic, and salt. If I have some onions already chopped from another dish I am preparing I'll toss in some onions also. I'll cook the green beans on a medium low heat another couple minutes until the garlic has enough time to flavor the green beans.

What is your favorite way to prepare vegetables?
