It's potty time!

I seemed to have forgotten how exhausting the first trimester of pregnancy can be. Up until this week I have felt really good, a little tired but not bad. I have hit that wall of no energy! I think I will find out many more pregnancy "extremes" I have forgotten about, like labor! I seem to have this strange memory of my delivery not being "that bad". I remember immediately delivering Ashlyn and thinking "I could do this all over again". I'm sure that is God's way of keeping the earth populated because I know after an hour and a half of pushing I couldn't have possibly thought it was a breeze!
With that said, Saturday (while I was still feeling perky) I decided it was time for Potty Training Boot camp. So the past five days we have been potty training. We have had something during the day every day since then so today was the first day of staying home and getting down and dirty, no pun intended. This morning I woke up and wanted to kick myself in the behind!! What was I thinking! I didn't get anything checked off my to do list, except exercise and take a nap because of the insane number of trips to the potty. Although I was thrilled this afternoon to see a little light at the end of the tunnel when Ashlyn used the potty 4 times in a row.


So Ashlyn's "ig irl panties", as she calls them, are freshly washed and dried waiting for another round tomorrow. And yes, we do go through all of them in one day!
