The Mouse

Ashlyn went to a birthday party for her little friend Dixon this morning at Chuck E Cheese. This was her first time at Chuck E Cheese and she loved it. She especially loved Chucky which she refers to as "the mouse". She spent all of her tokens on rides and a picture in the photo booth with mommy.


Ashlyn must be a crazy driver because Bailey looks a little nervous!


Ashlyn got a little dance skirt from her friend Emily. Ashlyn loves it! She some how knew exactly what she was supposed to do once I put it on her. She had the best time dancing around showing off her moves!



I came across this blog that has great crockpot recipes. I was excited about all the dairy free recipes on there that I can fix for my family. Most crockpot recipes have cream soups in them which I can't cook with. I made Chicken Lettuce Wraps tonight for dinner and they were pretty yummy. I also made a plum sauce to go with it. I used very lean groud turkey instead of ground chicken, that was all Walmart had stocked. I will definately use a fattier turkey next time, the meat was pretty dry. We also thought it needed a little extra texture so we sprinkled a little bit of chopped almonds in with the meat, it added a nice crunch.
