This is our menu for the week. Even though my girls aren't in school I feel like we are starting to get back into a regular routine. I usually have our activities for the week laid out and I have a pretty structured day, as far as meals and naps go, but our activities like MDO and Bible Study are starting back up slowly. There's always a different feeling in the air when September rolls around. Do you feel it too?
A couple weeks ago I tried a crock pot recipe and said I would let you know if it was a keeper, it was! I made Smothered Pork Chops from Mel's Kitchen Cafe. This isn't a dump and go crock pot recipe so it's not one for a busy morning but it also doesn't include Cream Soups. Can I get a halleluiah!?! I served it with Basmati rice.
Monday- Grill Burgers (Body Life Group)
Tuesday- Red Beans and Rice (new recipe, I'll be cutting out the cayenne pepper for the girl's sake), Okra
Wednesday- Beef Enchiladas, Spanish rice, corn
Thursday- Honey Mustard Curry Chicken (new recipe, I'm going to cut the butter in half), Roasted new potatoes, carrots
Friday- Left Overs
Saturday- Baked Fish, Sweet Potato casserole, green beans
Sunday- Spaghetti and Meatballs, rolls, sweet peas
